COMMUNITY BUILDING EVENT AT GEORGE OBSERVATORY
Thanks to our Comunity Building chairs Katherine Mcgaha and Lynell Grounds this fun and educational event at the George Observatory and Brazos Bend Park on Sept. 12th. was a huge success!.
Highlights:

In the Mission I liked Moving camera-1 to see what people were doing. I could even Zoom in and Zoom out! - Sanath
I had a great time on the mission - I was part of the NAV team and got the Mission to the Moon. The alligators were cool too! - Marie
My favorite part was being in the COM team and sending messages to Mission Control. I also enjoyed hiking and I saw Raccoons, Armadillos, Alligators, Banana Spiders, Snake and Deer. - Anuraag
I loved everything about the George Observatory. In the Full Mission I got to be Houston Control and send messages to the other team was on the Moon. Then I got to be in Mars control and send messages to the crew that was in Houston. We played for hours and hours in the picnic area with our friends. We saw Deer, Armadillos, Spiders, Ducks, Alligators and lots of birds. I can't wait to go back. - Lydia

I was in the Probe team. The best part was when me and my friends built the space probe. The whole room started to flash when our probe was launched to space - Pranav

I liked it when we landed on the moon. Also, there was a snake covered in moss at the park and "Next time let's ride the bike through the forest trail - Vedant
