FEELIN' GROOVY CARNIVAL
 
Thank you to all the families that came to the Feelin' Groovy carnival on October 17th, 2009 and helped to make it a huge success! Many of you came out and enjoyed the games, goodies, great music and beautiful weather.
A very special thank you is also extended to everyone who volunteered. Parent volunteers helped to get everything set up and ready for the kids by 11:00am, staffed the class booths, concession stand, sales tables and other activities, and then helped to clean it all up at the end of the day. Our carnival would not be possible without you!
Thank you also to the many teachers who attended the carnival this year; your students loved seeing you there!! Mr. Muzyka and Ms. Bruner were "outta sight" in their groovy threads; our thanks to them for being such good sports!
Certain individuals deserve separate mention for really going above and beyond the call of duty. John Grounds arrived early to help set up, coordinated the numerous volunteers, exhibited prowess in his DJ duties, and stayed to help clean it all up at the end. Theresa Leong not only solicited donations from area business to supply our concession stand, she too was there for early set up, worked tirelessly throughout the day feeding the hungry carnival goers, and stayed late to clean up. Li Doyle kept it all together, coordinating ticket presales and organizing the ticket sales table the day of the event. Tanya Mooradian pounded the pavement going to area businesses securing donations and prizes for our raffle, and then coordinated the numerous raffle drawings and prize awards during the carnival. Thanks to Valerie Mabin for taking care of the weekly carnival updates in the RAM News. Our greatful and heartfelt thanks go to you all for making our jobs so much easier!
Kudos to Susan Skipton & Susan Goll for their meticulous planning from Summer so that we could all enjoy the Fall Carnival. Please thank these individuals when you see them and let them know how much you enjoyed the carnival.
Raffle Prizes Galore
Let's give a big T.H. Rogers round of applause to the many individuals and area businesses that donated prizes to our carnival raffle.
